General Responsibilities:
Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and overall management of all CAW’s facility's physical environment and infrastructure. This role ensures that all building and grounds are functional and well-maintained, often involving a mix of hands-on work, project management, and coordination with various stakeholders/departments. Assist co-workers with Facility issues related to the performance of their jobs. Seek and develop new vendors and sources of supply. Work closely with the Purchasing Department to prepare RFQ, RFP and ITB related to all facilities goods and services.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinates and oversees maintenance and repair activities, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep on related facilities up to but not limited to all buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Works closely with Purchasing to ensure all Facility related specifications are accurate, such as Janitorial, HVAC, Lawn maintenance, Landscaping, Plumbing, Pressure Washing, etc.
- Works closely with Purchasing to ensure all Facility related permits are renewed in a timely manner, such as elevator permits throughout the facilities and all other related facilities permits.
- Performs routine inspections to ensure the facility’s infrastructure, equipment, and grounds are functional and well-maintained.
- Work closely with all facilities related vendors and solicit any new vendors related to the facilities maintenance such as: HVAC, Plumbing, Janitorial, Pressure Washing, etc.
- Respond to and resolve all facility-related issues in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing safety and minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage service contracts and coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, maintenance, and project work.
- Monitor and maintain building systems and preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Obtain information and prepare specifications for RFQs, RFPs, ITB’s and other assigned duties
- Support planning and execution of facility improvement projects, including space planning, renovations, and capital upgrades.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support operational needs and ensure a clean and efficient working environment.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, work orders, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with emergency preparedness and facility response plans, including weather-related or utility disruptions.
- Work with various departments for the selling of any equipment or material throughout the CAW.
- Participate in the development of specifications for services, equipment, products, supplies or substitute materials.
- Attend related meetings to identify new product demands, schedules, and facility needs.
- Responsible for the selling of all surplus goods and services, such as equipment, IT equipment, furniture etc., using Gov Deals or affiliate.
- Work closely with the Safety department to ensure all facility certification and compliance are updated.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Certifications
Experience:
Four years of facilities-related experience, which includes knowledge of building systems, equipment, and materials, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Proven expertise in verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, multitasking, and a keen attention to detail.
